Jana

Founder and Instructor

Jana is a Lebanese singer-songwriter based in Ottawa, blending Arabic music with western influences. After studying in Lebanon's National Higher Conservatory, she co-founded Entropy Entertainment in Ottawa and delivered national and international performances across Canada and Lebanon, and was a quarterfinalist on The Voice Quebec in 2024.

Charbel Karam

Charbel studied piano for 10 years at Lebanon's National Higher Conservatory, completing Solfeggio and Music Theory courses. With 3+ years of music teaching, he offers engaging lessons to various age groups and levels, blending the Royal Conservatory curriculum with his own interactive technique that he developed throughout his artistic career, as well as concept of music theory. Charbel is also pursuing a Master’s in Biochemistry.

Nabih

Piano & percussion Instructor

Nabih is an accomplished pianist, composer, and music director with formal training in Musicology and Music Writing. With expertise in classical, jazz, and contemporary music, he tailors each lesson to challenge and inspire. Known for his collaborations with international artists, he brings professional-level insight to every student he teaches.

Hazel

Qanun Instructor

Hazel is a passionate musician and educator known for her dreamlike Qanun sound and international teaching experience. She has performed at major venues and is a member of Ottawa’s Rumi Music Ensemble since 2023, teaching students worldwide.

Zeina

Vocal Coach

Renowned for her mastery of Tarab and Mwashahat, Zeina is a leading voice in the traditional Arabic music scene in Canada. Trained in classical Arabic singing and oud, she brings years of performance experience across languages and cultures. Her teaching blends authenticity, precision, and deep cultural understanding.

Sam

Saxophone Instructor

Originally from Ottawa, Samuel Cousineau is a saxophonist and educator with degrees in jazz performance from McGill University and the University of North Texas, where he played with the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band. He has performed, recorded, and studied with world-renowned artists, and currently teaches while completing his DMA at the University of Toronto.

Fadi

Oud Instructor

Fadi is a passionate oud player and dedicated music educator whose artistry bridges cultures through sound. He began his studies in Syria with distinguished teachers before continuing at the prestigious Beit Al Oud in Egypt under the guidance of renowned master Naseer Shamma. As a teacher with over 10 years of experience, he balances strong technique with creativity and emotional expression, inspiring students of all ages to grow with confidence and depth.

Perla

Vocal Coach

With eight years of experience on stages across the MENA region, Perla is one of Ottawa’s most versatile contemporary vocalists. Her musical background combines formal vocal training with performance artistry rooted in pop, soul, and R&B. She guides her students with clarity, passion, and a deep belief in music’s power to connect.

Parsa

Guitar, Bass, Ukulele Instructor

Parsa is a Ph.D. candidate in interdisciplinary music research with over 15 years of experience in classical, acoustic, electric, and bass guitar. He offers personalized, goal-oriented lessons that blend technique, time management, and musical enjoyment for students of all ages and levels.

Joude

Piano Instructor

With over a decade of classical training at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, Joude brings exceptional musicality and a thoughtful, structured approach to every lesson. Her students benefit from her depth of technique and her inspiring mentorship.

Anthony

Tabla Instructor

Anthony has been dedicated to the tabla for over 12 years, refining his craft under the guidance of Elie Khoury. He has performed in a variety of musical settings, including major parades in Lebanon and live performances alongside the oud. As an educator, Anthony brings energy, precision, and encouragement to every lesson. He helps students build strong rhythmic foundations, refine their technique, and develop the confidence to express themselves through percussion.

Mathieu

Oriental Drum Instructor

Mathieu is a percussionist whose artistry is rooted in the Lebanese Drum. What began as a love for rhythm has grown into a way of inspiring creativity and sharing cultural traditions through music. For over 4 years, he has performed at weddings and cultural events across Canada and Europe, blending tradition with unforgettable moments.

Kyle

Drums Instructor

Kyle Iveglia has been studying and playing percussion since his early teens. Down-to-earth and deeply passionate about his craft, he has performed with several local bands and developed a unique style rooted in rock and jazz fusion. He is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and inspiring others to discover the joy of making music.

Chris

Drums Instructor

Chris has been teaching private drum lessons in Ottawa since 2007, bringing over 17 years of professional experience performing across every province and territory in Canada. From opening Bluesfest’s main stage for the Backstreet Boys to touring nationally with his band Chris Zimmerman & The Weather, he channels this wealth of real-world experience into lessons that are tailored, engaging, and fun.

Oriental Drum Instructor

Joey is a percussionist who brings the heartbeat of the Lebanese drum to weddings, cultural events, and celebrations. With over 4 years of experience performing across Canada and abroad, he now shares his passion with students, inspiring them to discover the power of rhythm and cultural expression through music.

Ohanes

Violin Instructor

Ohanes is a highly respected violinist and music theorist with over ten years of teaching experience. Trained at the prestigious Sabah Fakhri Institute and mentored by Armenian virtuoso Ashot Jenterejyan, he brings orchestral-level insight to every student. His deep academic and artistic knowledge sets him apart in the local scene.

Chadi

Tabla Instructor

Trained in darbuka through conservatory programs in Lebanon, Chadi specializes in oriental and world rhythms, and brings dynamic energy and rich tradition into his classes. His ability to engage students of all ages makes him one of the city’s most distinguished instructors.
